My baby lovebirds are approaching a month old!
(This is the 2nd batch)
First batch are wild birds, because they were hand-fed only after a month!
Thus, already hard to tame :(
Background: Love Birds are the smallest species of parrot! And in contrary to myth, lovebirds don't have to be in pairs.
The first time round, 8 eggs were laid!
Female Lovebird; Birdie
Interestingly, Female birds are the more aggressive ones.
First Batch Babies; 8 eggs laid, 3 hatched, 2 survived :(
Both take after their dad
Second Batch Babies; 4 eggs laid, 3 hatched, 2 survived :(
One take after the mum, the other, the dad
Hand-feeding
Black capped Lory; I want this!
There's another species that I dream to own; AFRICAN GREY.
They are fierce and big birds. Wooooo.
I saw this brochure that an african grey pet went missing. I would be really upset if I was the owner. :(
